So many things, so little time
Too many things to do these few days and so little time, Council, Gym, Council, Gym, so busy. Anyway, did a good deed this afternoon on the bus, Was taking 154 when the guy behind me got of. I realized he left his ez-link card behind and gave it to him before he alighted. Feels good to have done a good deed. Singapore just drew Indonesia 0-0, which is total crap, could have been 3-0, I could have scored from those chances with my eyes closed! Never mind, shall prove my predatory instincts in the match against 1F next year.

Salute to KEANO
This post is mainly to pay tribute to Roy Keane, top midfielder in his generation and best leader in the footballing world. He just qui United, yes, you heard or read it right, HE QUIT UNITED... I think there are a lot of leadership qualities to extract from him, his fiery temper so on... United should be giving him a tribunal match (tribunal? Not sure if I'm correct). Anyway, many know Keane as United and vice versa, it's hard to think one without him. He left at the wrong time, especially when United have a crunch match against Charlton after victory over Chelsea. But we'll move on, we coped without Bobby Robson and we'll do it again without Keano. All the best, Keano...

Gym Practice
Went for a whole day gym training today (9-6), which is longer than normal working hours. I was the only Sec 1 (in the C div team) to be there thus I had to train one-on-one with the coach (there are 4 coaches). Almost able to do a 'jian zi xiao fan', just that my legs have to be straight so that I can jump higher. Very tired, train so hard today. Still have to go tomorrow for Gym Meeting.

House hunting
Went house hunting today, looked at a total of 5 houses at the Holland V. area, which is close to HCI, but not to my preferences because there is only one direct bus (ie. 74) that goes to the school but it makles one whole round around (i think it is...) Farrer before heading to my school. Probably would take 40 mins when a car ride would have taken 15 or so. Okay, review of the houses, first house I saw was kind of erm... well-designed, had a good location, because the 74 bus-stop was in walking distance, around 5 mins or less. The second was close by but not as comfy or nice. Better facing though, won't get afternoon sun compared to the first. Third and fourth house didn't leave a very lasting impression, good facing but the bus-stop was supre far away. The design was not as nice too. Nothing fantastic in all. Liked the fifth house the most, it was owned by a Malay family, thus having that type of unique Malay flavour, so if we were to renovate it, it would still have traces of Malayism (joking :) ) or Malay flavour in it added with that Chinese touch, sounds cool right. Would have preferred places like Sunset Way or Toh Yee which is super close to the school and has at least 2-3 buses going there (direct ones I mean). Holland V. has its own good points, there is tons of good food and so on. Anyway, the main reason why we or my family is house hunting is because I am taking an hour an a half to travel to school everyday, which is a huge waste of time. Sisters (two of them) shiuld be going to schools around that area after their PSLE (over already) and O-Levels (in progress).

Don't know
Sometimes life does seem meaningless, to many it is just a journey, an aimless journey down a wandering path that only leads to eventual death. You come into the world with nothing and you leave with none too. All that you leave behind are footsteps and memories, kept deep down in the hearts of grieving love ones only to be forgotten when they too are gone. To some however, life does lead to eventual death, but through it you not only leave footsteps and memories, but legacies and inventions for the greater good of Mankind, your descendants. That itself makes life worthwhile, it makes you to be a legend, a legend to be created through your hard work and suffering, sweat and blood. But what for? With the pushing onto greater heights for Man, it most likely will lead to eventual annihilation. Take Edison for an example, the self-called peaceful man was the chosen one to call for the Atomic Bomb, which then leads to the Nuclear Bomb, and when Man uses it on one another, what does that lead to? The final extinction of the existence of Man, with that we not only bring ourselves to our deathbed but we bring along the innocent Nature through no fault of theirs. We bring down our beautiful Earth, already in pain due to our inhumanity…
Just felt like writing this, kind of those 'xin xue lai chao' type of stuff. Wrote it for no reason. The whole thing juts strolled into my mind. Anyway, was just wondering about the existence of life and the whole Edison thing has got no flaming, I totally respect the great inventor, scientist, the list goes on... Went to school for 6 straight days, tired but I have no problem with it. Better than staying at home and rotting, nothing to do nowadays, life seems so... boring! Wish I could start guitar lessons soon. Most likely not, knowing my family nad myself, the thing is going to 'tuo' until probably next year. Nothing much to blog, just real bored. And for the class chalet, nothing is being done, so if nobody does anything, I'll take action in two weeks time. Nobody cares about the whole jobs-being-divided-so-everybody-gets-a-chance-to-play-a-part-in-organising-the-chalet thing. No offence Ms. Foo but nobody is doing their jobs. Come to think of it, everybody has become more sensitive on their blogs now after the blogging incident (you know what I'm talking about) in Singapore. Bloggers that have blog posts that seem like a flammatory comment will put the "no offence" sign up to make sure their safe, especially when they come to teachers or people of higher authority (I'm no exception, for an example, read the above comment on the jobs-being-divided-so-everybody-gets-a-chance-to-play-a-part-in-organising-the-chalet thing).

Council
Been busy this whole week, going to school from Monday to Saturday straight! No stoppages! Anyway had to leave gym for like half an hour for council stuff ( had to go negotiate with the dealers on the souveniers for SOO a.k.a. Sec One Orientation '06), learnt lots of stuff from Jason (Boey) who was mainly the one talking, I was just supposed to take in the experience. But when I went back for gym, I had to train extra doubly hard because I missed 40 mins of it. Ivan was like laughing at me, mainly at how much extra work I had to do. Ivan's quite pro in gym, but the seniors and Kenny thinks he won't make it to the competition, I think I'll be the one getting cut off! Low self-esteem right? Wasn't that tiring, mainly because we slacked through Physical Training. I also restarted my Maple account/or started a new one, whatever. Mainly because my previous account's stats were so screwed up. Sigh, now I have to retrain all over again. I'm probably the richest level 8 about, 35k, coming from my previous account. Still have to go for a Logistics Commitee Briefing tomorrow in school. So 'sian'!

Maple
Haven't blogged for so long, busy playing Maple Story, currently a level 13 Magician (I just started 5 days ago!), can't decide whether to be a Fire/Poison or Ice/Lightning magician on my next job advancement which is a long long way more to go (at level 30). Anyway, I have been going for gym for the past two days (Mon: 9-6, Tues: 9-2). Been very tiring, train, train and train again. Got scolded yesterday by Gym Coach for playing soccer in the gym with a basketball, but only seniors got punished. :) Looking forward to the Harry Potter movie though my interest in it seems to be declining, for reasons I'm not sure of. Also, Manchester United 'slayed' (or so Today says) Chelsea 1-0!!! Papers have been saying the result ran thus because Man Utd were showing the grit and determination that was dominant in the Premiership-dominant team of the past decade. Thinking of this, I think that the young players are letting the feel of playing for a big club getting to their head. Roy Keane's message really brought them down to earth. Players like Rooney and Ronaldo definitely have what it takes to lead the club onto greener pastures but they should really keep their heads to the ground.
